Most Nespresso bundles come with an Aeroccino. If your machine doesnt come with an Aeroccino, I highly recommend you purchase one when possible.
The Aeroccino froths milk with very little effort. If you use normal cows milk, you will get the best froth. BUT DO NOT FEAR! Alternative milk for those of you who are dairy free will froth too!
The Aeroccino also has a hot AND a cold setting! To make hot drinks, press the Aeroccino button once. The light will turn red and your frothed milk will stay warm. If you want an iced coffee, press and hold down the button until it turns blue. Your frothed milk will stay cold.
Which One Is Stronger: Iced Coffee Or Iced Latte
It all depends on the base of the drink. An iced coffee contains 12 ounces of coffee as its base, which consists of 168 mg of caffeine. On the other hand, an iced latte uses two shots of espresso as a base, containing 126 mg of caffeine. So, it means an iced coffee is more intense than a latte.

Iced latte ratios :
- 12 oz iced latte : 1 shot espresso, 1 ounce liquid sweetener, 8 ounces milk
- 16 oz iced latte : 2 shots espresso, 2 ounces liquid sweetener, 8 ounces milk
- 20 oz iced latte : 3 shots espresso, 4 ounces liquid sweetener, 8 ounces milk
First step is you need espresso, which can be cold OR hot. I brew my espresso right over the ice cubes in my glass. The ice helps to cool the espresso down and the cubes dont seem to melt too much since theres only about 1 ounce of espresso in each shot I make.
Choose Between Nespresso Original And Nespresso Vertuo
There are two different kinds of Nespresso machines you can use to make coffee. These include the Original and Vertuo lines.
The Nespresso Original machine offers variability of brands and flavors for pod use . On the other hand, the Vertuo offers different size pods which allows you to customize your drinking style.
You can get the same result from your Original machines but using more of the smaller pods and making a larger cup of espresso. This does of course mean you will end up with more coffee.
Picking the Original machine means you can choose from any number of coffee pods from several hundreds of brands. You can only use Nespressos pods with the Vertuo.

Tip : Use The Hyperchiller
No, its not a machine to freeze yourself until the next century the HyperChiller is a handheld ice container that quickly cools coffee.
The HyperChiller is a bit like a Russian doll there is a container within a container within a container that cools coffee between layers of ice. Essentially, you fill the outer and inner container with water, freeze it, then pour the coffee into the middle container, and its cooled instantly. The coffee doesnt contact ice at all. Its almost like a cold brew coffee without the wait.
Full disclosure, I have not tried the HyperChiller, but it gets and various Nespresso social media groups. The downside is you have to prepare the HyperChiller the night before, which makes this the most time-intensive tip
How To Make An Iced Latte
Once you have your espresso brewed and your milk and sweetener ready, fill a glass with ice. Pour the espresso over the ice. Add the sweetener. Pour in the milk to fill the glass.
