I love DD’s Iced Lattes. My favorite is a flavor shot of caramel in with my latte giving it a nice creamy flavor. I purchased my normal “flavor shot” of caramel and actually got a “flavor swirl” of caramel.I instantly knew that this was not the shot because it was very sicky sweet. The flavor was good but the overbearing sweetness was too much for me to handle….and I do love sweet. If you are the kind of person who would put 8 sugars in a coffee, this would not be a bad choice but if you like very little milk and sweetness added to your morning caffine fix…this is not a great choice. Additionally, I believe the swirl adds calories to the coffee that the shot does not. I have not tried it hot but based on the calorie content alone, I would be reluctant to try it again in a hot version.DD does not make any of this clearn on their signage so you have to be specific with their employees which flavoring you want.
