The lead content is .13ppm for the Summer Harvest Organic Matcha, .19ppm for our Organic Ceremonial Matcha and .17ppm for the conventional Ceremonial. We poured some of the matcha out and we were very impressed with the crisp, vibrant green color of the Encha Matcha. The same color associated with high quality ceremonial grade matchas. This bright green color is synonymous with high quality matcha green tea due to the shade-grown first-harvest matcha tea leaves containing higher amounts of chlorophyll.
The grind of the Encha Matcha was also the ultra fine, powdery grind of a high quality matcha. Encha Matcha is ground using stone grinders, which is far superior to the ceramic grinders used by some matcha brands.
Next, we prepared the Encha Organic Latte Grade First Harvest matcha green tea powder into matcha green tea in the traditional manner with a bowl and matcha whisk.
