/7weight Loss: 5 Teas To Burn Belly Fat
Not just what you eat, but what you drink also makes a huge difference to your weight loss journey. And talking about drinks, did you know one simple beverage, which is right there in your kitchen, can do wonders for your weight loss goals?
Experts suggest, drinking green tea regularly is an excellent habit if you are trying to lose weight. If you are planning to use this super easy method to fulfil your weight loss goals, here is a list of six scientifically proven green teas that can help you melt belly fat.
Apple Cider Vinegar Drinks
Apple cider vinegar contains acetic acid, a compound that may stimulate weight loss by decreasing insulin levels, improving metabolism, suppressing appetite and burning fat .
Animal studies have shown that acetic acid can prevent weight gain and decrease fat accumulation in the belly and liver .
Although research is limited, there is some evidence that vinegar is effective in promoting weight loss in humans.
A study in 144 obese adults demonstrated that drinking a daily beverage containing 2 tablespoons of vinegar per day resulted in significant reductions in body weight, waist circumference and belly fat compared to a placebo group .
Apple cider vinegar slows stomach emptying, which helps keep you fuller for a longer period of time and may reduce overeating .
However, it should be noted that drinking acidic beverages like apple cider vinegar can erode teeth, which is why it should be consumed sparingly and always followed by rinsing with water .
Summary Although more research is needed on the risks and benefits of apple cider vinegar, consuming a small amount per day may encourage weight loss.
Green Tea Vs Black Tea Benefits: Why Does It Matter
To begin with, all kinds of tea black and green are picked from a leafy green shrub in the same family as Camellia plants .
However, to make black tea, the new leaves are fermented and cured. This breaks down most of its active compounds.
Green tea, on the other hand, is prepared by lightly steaming the leaves after picking. This not only preserves the active compounds, it also destroys the enzymes that would break them down rapidly.

The Relationship Between Energy Weight Loss And Tea
Losing weight is achieved by “burning” it off. You can do this through exercise, to burn off a lot of calories at once. You can also do this by dieting, so your body burns off fat to keep you going. The best results are usually achieved by balancing both a healthy diet and a regular exercise regime.
Tea is a tool that can help you with this.
Some teas can assist with fat burning, increasing metabolism, and breaking down fat. Other teas with high caffeine content can give you the energy to run, dance or workout however you like, but without adding extra calories to your diet. The best teas can do both.
Without adding sugar and dairy, tea is usually a 0-calorie beverage. Switching from any calorie-dense drink to tea will be a step in the right direction too.
Can Green Tea Help With Weight Loss
Green tea all on its own is a great sugar-free beverage choice, and while its not a substitute for a balanced lifestyle, it does have some weight loss properties that regular H20 doesnt. It certainly isnt a cure-all, but if you like the taste and enjoy drinking it, a few cups of green tea daily can help complement a healthy eating routine and may help you gradually lose weight, says Stefani Sassos, MS, RDN, CDN, Registered Dietitian for the Good Housekeeping Institute.
Potential ways it can aid in your weight loss goals:
Sassos also notes that its always ideal to opt for food and beverage in their whole form. The supplement industry is not well regulated, and large doses of any single nutrient or high potency vitamin or mineral can be harmful. Green tea extracts can border on the toxic range and even pose potential risk of liver damage, whereas a cup of the brew is an excellent way to hydrate and nourish you.

How Many Forms Of Green Tea Are Available
There are many varieties and types of green teas available which are in different types and various forms. Common forms include green tea leaves, tea bags as well as in powdered forms.
While buying green tea in any form make sure to look for tea that is either organic or is available with the written label “100% green tea”. This indicates that the tea sold in the stores is not adulterated and is good to buy.
Different tea packs sold are not a hundred per cent pure and do not bring any positive results to the body.
Therefore, buying them in their pure form is more beneficial. One common brand in the market is Lipton green tea, a brand that’s been selling tea for many years with several green tea flavours.

White Tea: May Boost Metabolism
When you think of weight loss, you probably think of green tea, but white tea may also be effective when it comes to helping you lose weight. In a 2009 study in laboratory-grown fat cells published in the journal Nutrition & Metabolism, white tea extract was found to help in the breakdown of fat and inhibit the formation of new fat cells. The findings dont mean that white tea will have the same effect on people who drink it. However, the researchers say its the teas high EGCG content, the compound also found in green tea, that induces this breakdown in laboratory-grown cells.
Bonus: White tea may help rev up your metabolism. A 2010 study published in the International Journal of Obesity notes that any kind of tea can boost metabolism by four to five percent. While more research is needed on white tea in particular, the authors note that it has more EGCG and caffeine than green tea.
