Can Boba Be Healthy

You Can Keep Bubble Tea on Your Keychain

With any food or drink, the question of whether its healthy is so subjective. Personally, I enjoy drinking boba tea, and I give myself permission to drink it! No, its not hydrating like water, and it isnt a rich source of nutrients like a breakfast smoothie might be. And yes, it tends to be higher in added sugars and starchy carbs . Overall, bubble tea has a place in my life because I enjoy it, though its not something that I typically enjoy every day. Only you can decide whats right for you when it comes to boba!

In my own relationship with food, Ive let go of labeling foods as good or bad because of the stress these labels create. All too often, we come to see ourselves as good or bad based on what we eat, leading to cycles of bingeing and restricting, or over-exercising trying to compensate. Plus, all of that stress about what were eating takes a toll on our bodies and minds. How Long Will I Have To Wear Braces

The amount of time it takes to treat your smile with braces depends on three key factors:

  • Early treatment Early treatment allows orthodontists to monitor the growth of the jaw and recommend further orthodontic treatment if it becomes necessary. Not everybody receives early orthodontic treatment; in some cases it may be recommended that a patient wait to receive treatment.
  • What needs correction The amount of treatment needed to correct a problem will determine how long the process takes. Different patients react to treatments differently. While it may take one patient only 12 months to complete treatment, it may take another patient 24 months. Treatment times can vary depending on how quickly your body responds and how much work is needed to give you the show-stopping smile you expect.
  • YOU! Your willingness to use the appliances your orthodontist gives you plays a major role in the length of time it takes to complete your treatment. Always remember to take care of your braces and appliances; this truly will help make your treatment shorter!

Your First Days With Braces On

Now that you have started orthodontic treatment, here are a few hints to help you get you through the first several days with a minimum of discomfort.

Pain and Management

Congratulations? You have braces!! Everything feels weird, rough, sharp and uncomfortable, but that feeling will disappear over the next week or two as you get used to the braces.

Even though the wires weve used to move your teeth are very fine and hardly put any pressure on your teeth, you will still get sore teeth over the next couple of days. Generally, the soreness will start in 2-3 hours after the braces have been placed and get worse over the first 24 hours. So, tonight and tomorrow will probably be the worst, then it should slowly settle over the next week or so.

If you havent already taken a pain killer, take something when you get home. Nurofen is generally the most effective. However, if you cant take Nurofen for any reason, Panadol works well most of the time.

Loosening of Teeth

This is to be expected throughout treatment. Its normal so dont be upset. The teeth will again become firmly fixed in their new positions.;;; Teeth must loosen first so they can be moved.

Food and Eating

Food and EatingThe first week or two, you will most likely be on very soft food: soup, yoghurt, custard, mashed potato, rice, pasta, scrambled eggs, etc.

While you are on soft food, you dont have to worry too much about what you eat. You just need to concentrate on keeping your teeth nice and clean.

Drinking Water When Wearing Invisalign Is Encouraged

Sipping cool water while wearing your Invisalign® aligners is OK and in fact, makes a great idea.

Theres no potential for it to stain or warp your aligners. And any water that does seep inside of them will only help to dilute and flush away bacteria and their byproducts that might cause harm to your teeth or gums.

You dont have to give up your favorite beverages.

Of course, you can still continue to enjoy a cup of coffee or tea, a soda or even some red wine whenever you want. Just take your aligners out first.

Then, once youre finished, clean your teeth as is appropriate and then reinsert your appliances so your treatment progress continues.

Sticky Or Hard Candies

Hard candies are both too hard and sticky for an approved food for braces.;

The biting force that it takes to crush a hard candy with your teeth is not compatible with braces, wires and orthodontic appliances. If hard candy gets positioned on top of a bracket and you bite down, you are sure to break a brace off.;;

Also, candies are high sugar content items. Even if you suck the candy instead of chewing it, you are flooding your mouth with sugar. This sugar is food for acid-producing bacteria that cause cavities. This can ruin your beautiful straight teeth. Enamel decalcification is after your braces come off, is unhealthy and unattractive.;

For this reason, hard candies are our number 3 food that should be avoided with braces.;

Is It Ok To Eat Cereal With Braces

Bubble Tea & Sugar Drinks Can Put You In A Coma??

No need to worry about cereal. Its ok to eat cereal with braces. Just you need to stay active while taking your meals; braces treatment is not telling you to stop eating any kind of food. Just need to reduce complex and crunchy nutrients and other things you can enjoy.

Nutrition: Are Tapioca Pearls Bad For You

Overall, boba tapioca pearls are delicious and fun to eat, though theyre not a rich source of nutrients. In cup boba pearls, there are around 100 calories, 25g of carbs, 2g of fiber, and thats pretty much it. And, for those who are gluten conscious, boba pearls are gluten free! Again, I tend to steer clear of calling any foods good or bad. I enjoy eating tapioca pearls, and I also recognize that theyre mainly a source of starchy carbohydrates.

Where toFind Bubble Milk Tea Pearls

I bought my black tapioca pearls online, and they conveniently came with a set of classic boba straws! This is a great set of boba tea cups, which you can purchase separately for serving if desired. You can use any cups and straws that you like, just know that those tapioca pearls will be far too thick to sip through a standard-size straw.

Add boba tapioca pearls into boiling water. Lightly stir until pearls begin to float, then cover and boil for 3 minutes.,
