Oolong has about 37 milligrams of caffeine per cup while coffee has about 80-100 milligrams. So oolong has less caffeine than coffee, but the amount of caffeine in oolong can vary greatly depending on the specific tea. All true teas that come from the Camellia sinensis plant black, puer, oolong, green and white tea naturally contain caffeine, albeit in different levels. Some varieties, like an aged Pu-erh tea, can contain as little as 25-30mg caffeine per cup of tea. But others, like good quality Assam black tea, can deliver 90 or 95mg per cup about the same as coffee.

Caffeine-free, on the other hand, means there is absolutely no caffeine present. Caffeine-free teas would include those herbal varieties mentioned above. Luckily, there are so many varieties of herbal tea, youll never run out of options!

Is It A Good Choice To Drink Decaf Teas
Many people dont realize that the processes used to remove caffeine from tea leaves would be cause more harmful result than the caffeine itself! Even worse, the decaffeinating process will also remove some of the good stuff away from the leaves, such as antioxidants.
There are also studies to suggest that caffeine in tea is good for you. If you want to enjoy the teas origin flavor and taste, I also suggest not choose the decaf teas.
