Ati Teas 6 Full Study Guide

This is the newest book on the market and one of the best one there is.;

The only reason this book isn’t number 1 is because many of the questions are a bit harder than the actual exam so if you’re in a time crunch you will feel underprepped and stress too much.

However, if you have plenty of time, we recommend starting with this book and then returning to the practice tests in the book above to truly test yourself before the test.

A huge benefit are the online flashcards that come with the book so if you don’t want to purchase or log around physical ones, this combo is perfect!

Anatomical Planes And Terminology

To help in understanding anatomy, the human body is discussed in three planes: the coronal, sagittal, and transverse planes. If a person is standing upright and facing forward, with their arms by their side, palms facing forward and fingers pointing down, they are in the resting pose. Then, the coronal plane separates the front and back halves; the sagittal separates the left and right halves, and the transverse plane separates the top and bottom halves.

Pay attention to the time limit

As written above, each area of the TEAS has a specific time limit. To get familiar with the feeling of taking a test under a time limit, you may try to combine timed practice into your study routine. A stopwatch or timer is essential to keep track of the time youre taking the test.

Answer problems you know first

Because of the time limit, its important to divide the time you spend on each question wisely. One tried and true test-taking strategy is that you should skip questions that you cant immediately answer. Then, when reaching the end of the section, you go back and try to answer these questions.

Ati Teas Practice Tests Version 6

This book blatantly lies to your face.

It says that the book is created for the new exam, but nothing except the cover has been updated and it’s still the same book that was made for the TEAS 5.

The book also has a ridiculous amount of mistakes in the math and science section, and often the answer key doesn’t match up with the questions.

Ati Teas Secrets Study Guide

This is the best book to prepare for the TEAS exam, but it still isn’t perfect.

It does a great job of covering the Reading, English, and Math sections, but the Science section isn’t the best.;

However, even with the science issues, this book is your best bet for getting a high score on the exam. It’s one of the only books designed with the new TEAS in mind, and it is much better than the official test prep materials released by ATI.

This book has 3 practice test with questions that very closely resemble real exam questions, and while the practice exams might be a tiny bit harder than the real thing, they prepare you well and guarantee that if you pass the practice exams, you will pass the real test.

The book is somewhat big at nearly 400 pages, but you don’t have to read the whole thing! We recommend taking the first practice exam and studying based off of what you didn’t do well on. Also, compared to the other TEAS prep books, this one could be considered short!

To prepare for the science section we recommend either buying this Kaplan book;or studying on your own using Khan Academy or other online sources.

Take The Teas Test Early

Even if youre not quite ready to apply for nursing school, it can be helpful to take the TEAS test at the very beginning of your undergraduate studies during your first year of college. This will help you get familiar with the exam content and format so youre better prepared the next time you take itwhen youre actually applying for nursing school.

How to Study for & Pass the ATI TEAS Exam!! [tips, tricks, resources, advice and my experience]

This is also a solid prep option, and we recommend using this as an addition to the TEAS secrets book to prepare for the science section.

The science section in this book is better than the one in the one above, but it’s still not perfect so you might have to consult your previous textbooks or Khan Academy.

The practice questions resemble the actual exam pretty closely, so it’s not a bad idea to buy this book even if it’s simply for the 2 extra practice exams.

They also offer 50 additional questions online, which is nice, but shouldn’t be the deciding factor for purchasing this book.

All in all, it’s not an amazing book, but it’s also not terrible. We recommend buying it for the science section and the extra practice.
