Okay, start with your loose leaf tea. In this case, I used a Yerba mate green tea, which I purchased for $13.00 a pound. Then, added in a handful of dried citrusgrapefruit, orange, lemon, and lime. To make it a little more interesting, I also put in a quarter cup of dried hibiscus and finely diced dried apple, about a quarter cup. Adding in two tablespoons of dried cranberries as well for a little bite of sourness to play off of the citrus.
Personally, I like to brew tea in my french press. I do have a teapot as well however for me the french press is a perfect vessel to brew in. If you dont have a french press you could use a standard teapot as well as you can brew your tea on the stovetop with a standard pot.

Loose Leaf Tea Brewing Instructions
1. Boil water in your tea kettle
2. While waiting for water to boil, add the appropriate amount of loose leaf tea to your tea infuser. Place the tea infuser inside your teapot or mug. Tip: Double the amount of tea you use when making iced tea
3. When the water reaches the desired temperature, pour it over the tea infuser into your mug or teapot. This will allow the water to circulate through the leaves.
4. Time your tea. Once the time is up, dunk the infuser a couple of times to circulate the water. Remove the infuser and set aside for a second steeping.
5. Serve in your favorite mug, or pour over ice for a satisfying iced tea.
Tip: when resteeping your tea, add another minute to the steep time, this is because the tea needs longer to draw out the flavor.

This is something that I have found not to be listed in the ingredients or the packaging. The alcohol based infused tea is flavored with a mist, then let to sit and dry. The alcohol evaporates and you are left with infused tea.
If you wish to add additional flavoring with this method to your fancy tea blends, simply place your favorite alcohol extract into an atomizer or small spray bottle, spread your tea blend on a baking sheet and mist. Let the tea sit out to dry, mixing occasionally until it can safely be stored in a tea tin. Meaning you do not want any moisture in your tea prior to storage.
One other great way to add additional natural flavor to your tea blends is with fresh herbs and other fruits and vegetables. One thing that I have been known to do is placing my citrus blend tea in my french press and just before brewing adding in fresh basil and additional orange zest. We usually store herbs that are dry. You should dry them as soon as possible, dont wait. First, see what you have gathered.
Discard everything that is damaged in any way without feeling guilty. Clean them from soil, dust, and bugs before drying.
Where to dry them?
You should dry herbs in a dry, clean and airy place, preferably in the attic. If you dry them outside put them on the sun so they will be dry as soon as possible.
This way, they will maintain a beautiful color, pleasant scent, and many active ingredients while they still capture the power of the sun.
Most of the plants are dried in the sun in one day. Dont let them outside through the night or when it rains .
Look for the unhealthy and damaged parts and remove them during the drying process.
Spread plants in a thin layer on a clean surface, wrapping paper for example. The drying process should be quick.
Turn drying herbs or even replace the damp ground during drying. If your plants are properly dried, they shouldnt have different colors from the fresh ones.
You can use vegetable boxes for drying them which can be placed one on another. You can also prepare boxes with mesh bottoms.
