Heidi Klum is dishing about her new song!
The 48-year-old model stopped by The Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon on Friday , where she discussed her Snoop Dogg collaboration Chai Tea with Heidi.
Heidi explained that she had been asked by the team at Germanys Next Top Model to sing the theme song for the upcoming season and joked, I was like, Hey you dont have to ask me twice to sing something for you guys.
She went on to say she felt like she wanted someone else to appear on the track so she reached out to Snoop, who agreed right away. Heidi shared that her husband, Tokio Hotel guitarist Tom Kaulitz, worked on the song and she came up with the idea to incorporate part of Rod Stewarts song Baby Jane.
Yeah, but heres where it gets tricky, host Jimmy Fallon said. Then you have to find Rod Stewart and get his permission.
And can I tell you something, that was the hardest thing to do. They should make a movie about finding Rod Stewart, she replied as Jimmy laughed. Because it was very easy to find Snoop Dogg But Rod Stewart, boy, hes hard to find.
Heidi asked her hairstylist one day if she knew anyone who could put her in contact with the singer and revealed that her stylist put her in touch with Rods daughter Kimberly. The model reached out and didnt hear back for a while, leading her to think that Rod hated the song.

Snoop Dogg And Heidi Klum Released A Song Called ‘chai Tea With Heidi’ Because Why Not
Have you ever wondered what it would sound like if supermodel Heidi Klum and rap legend Snoop Dogg made a song together? We now have an answer thanks to “Chai Tea With Heidi,” and it sounds exactly like a song Heidi Klum and Snoop Dogg would make.
The unlikely duo released the electronic dance bop Friday, featuring production by WeddingCake, lyrics and a melody borrowed from Rod Stewart‘s 1983 song “Baby Jane,” and a title that’s redundant but does at least sort of rhyme .
Snoop kicks off the undeniably catchy song with a “Ladies, can I talk to y’all for a minute?” and choice lines like “The walk mean, fierce, feisty / Girl, you’re hot and you’re sweet like chai tea,” while Klum sings the refrain: “When I give my heart again, I know it’s gonna last forever / No one tell me where or when, I know it’s gonna last forever.”
Snoop Dogg is no stranger to seemingly random pairings, as evidenced by his enduring friendship with Martha Stewart and his 2011 collab with Nickelodeon stars Big Time Rush. The “Drop It Like It’s Hot” and “Gin and Juice” rapper released his most recent album, the compilation Algorithm, in November.
This isn’t Klum’s first foray into music either. The America’s Got Talent judge and former Project Runway host released a Christmas song titled “Wonderland” in 2006 and sang on then-husband Seal’s 2007 song “Wedding Day.”

Heidi Klum has dropped the racy music video for her new single with Snoop Dogg, titled Chai Tea with Heidi.
The supermodel, 48, can be seen writhing up against the rapper, 50, in the dance track, which marks her first musical venture in 16 years.
The black-and-white clip was filmed on location in Los Angeles and Greece and sees Klum flaunting her flawless figure in a range of risqué outfits.
It was truly an honor to collaborate with so many amazing people to create this fun and upbeat music video, Klum said in a statement sent to The Post via her PR team. I am still pinching myself to make sure this really happened.
In the clip, the mom-of-four proves shes still got the moves, performing a choreographed routine alongside a troupe of professional dancers.
And it seems fans approve of both Klums dancing and singing abilities, leaving a range of fawning comments beneath the clip after it dropped on YouTube on Thursday.
Heidi is hot as hell she steals every show, one admirer remarked.
Klums last single was the holiday tune Wonderland, released way back in 2006.
The fashionista first teased her new single in October last year in the recording studio to commemorate Snoop Doggs 50th birthday.
Klum explained that the idea of the single was sparked following the finale of Germanys Next Top Model, when someone suggested she perform the theme song for the reality shows next season, the Daily Mail reported.

The West Coast rap icon is prepping his latest track, the EDM collaboration “Chai Tea With Heidi,” with supermodel Heidi Klum. The track samples Rod Stewart’s 1983 track”Baby Jane” and is produced by DJ/producer duo, WeddingCake. The production pair was discovered to be Devon Culiner and Klums husband, Tom Kaulitz via EDM.com.
