I know regular milk doesnt taste like oats but its still the closest match. Oat milk has the creamy thickness of whole milk and is lower in fat. Why Use A Blender When Making Matcha Lattes:
- No grainy green tea residue left in your cup. The blender will make sure the powder is fully dissolved into the milk and won’t tend to sink at the bottom of your cup, anyway not as quickly as when whisked manually.
- No need to sift the matcha powder: the powder is so fine that it tends to clump together while storing. When whisking it manually, it is recommended to first sift the powder into the cup to help incorporate it into the milk and avoid lumps. Using a blender will have you skip this step!
- I tend to use my blender when making more than one matcha latte at once. I can just blend a larger amount and don’t have to whisk each cup by hand.
- Look at that elegant thick froth! The blender pretty much whips the matcha-oat milk to a thick and luscious mixture, which creates a beautiful foam layer over the matcha tea after poured into the cup.

Vegan Iced Vanilla Oatmilk Latte With Brewed Black Tea
I didnt really fall into the fad of oatmilk until recently when I tried an oatmilk latte at Starbucks. I became obsessed and tried all sorts of flavor combinations from a nutella latte, to plain chocolate , vanilla, pistachio, and honey, they are all great! I think my favorite was a plain vanilla though because its simple flavor but still delicious! I have tried making lattes at home in the past, but never with tea. I was so impressed with the tea latte because the flavor was delicious and it didnt keep me up at night like coffee does. This vegan iced vanilla oatmilk latte is a personal favorite!
A tea latte is basically the same as an espresso latte, except better because it doesnt come with all the negatives of espresso! Espresso gives me a plain stomachache if I dont drink it on a full stomach, plus we get so wired drinking it. Tea on the other hand is a lot more mild in terms of caffeine, and even is thought to have some health benefits. If you havent tried a tea latte, you really should! This latte can be made hot or iced, although Im preferential to iced being it is HOT in Southern California even in February. If you plan to make it hot, just make sure that your oatmilk can be steamed or frothed, some brands arent made to be heated and it will get really thick .
Blender Oat Milk Matcha Latte
I enjoy using a matcha sifter and bamboo whisk when making green tea lattes: I found the whole whisking process to be calming and forces me to slow down for a few minutes. BUT, I actually often end up making my matcha lattes using my blender. So, if you are not fully equipped with the the usual matcha latte tools, then don’t let this stop you!

Confession timeIm a coffee addict. I wasnt always this way. In fact, for a very long time I didnt drink coffee at all. I didnt start drinking coffee on a regular basis until I had kid number two.
Then it was all downhill from there. As an exhausted mom with an infant and a toddler, caffeine became my best friend.
I always loved the flavor of coffee. When I was a kid I ate coffee yogurt, coffee ice cream, and coffee flavored candy.
Now that I think about it, its quite perplexing why my mother allowed me to eat these coffee flavored things, but she didnt seem too concerned about it, and I think I turned out okay.
It was winter when I was on maternity leave with my second. A Starbucks popped up with a drive through a mile down the street from where we lived.
Soon after it became my regular routine to cruise through the drive through after I dropped my oldest off at preschool. My regular back then was a vanilla soy latte.
