One shaker = not sweet at all // Five shakers = your teeth may curl
The Crown Royal Peach Tea canned cocktail is sweet but not too sweet. It does have some sweetness from the peach flavor but I didn’t pick up on any of the sweet whiskey flavor I was expecting. I actually thought this cocktail would be a lot sweeter than it is.
One shaker = does this have booze? Five shakers = OG Four Lokos
Officially this one rings in at 7% ABV which is pretty average for a ready-to-drink cocktail. These are not crazy strong whiskey drinks so you don’t have anything to worry about on that front. I can’t say that I got much of a boozy sensation from the first few sips but I’m sure it would build up as you finished the can.

Maaaaybe. I’m a little on the fence about this one. In some ways I liked but in other ways it is really just a super average canned cocktail and there are so many other amazing canned cocktails that are so much better that I would kind of hate to waste calories and money on this specific one again.
I am still hopeful for the other two Crown Royal canned cocktails – the Washington Apple and Whiskey & Cola – so I am going to hold off on forming my opinion until I’ve had a chance to try those as well.

Heat the water to boiling and steep the tea bag for 2-4 minutes. Remove the tea bag.
Fill a large glass with ice. Add the Crown Royal Peach Whiskey.
Add the freshly brewed tea.
If you like your tea on the sweeter side add 1-2 teaspoons of simply syrup or granulated sugar. Stir to combine.

Hi cocktail lovers! I have been seeing these Crown Royal cans everywhere lately so I decided it was time to give them a try. A lot of major brands have jumped into the ready-to-drink cocktail market including new canned cocktails from the heaviest hitters in the whiskey market – Crown Royal, Jack Daniels, and Jim Beam. And you know your girl loves a whiskey cocktail so . . . first up is the Crown Royal Peach Tea cans.
I picked up all three of the Crown Royal canned cocktails to review and I’ll be trying them over the course of the next few weeks to see if these are worth picking up or if you should skip them. I want to be optimistic that these will be great cocktails in a can but in the past I’ve been pretty disappointed in what the “big guys” bring to the table for their canned cocktails. Fingers crossed Crown Royal will buck that trend.
So the packaging is on point. I’m praying what is inside is just as well thought out.
